Making an Impact on Hospitality

Hospitality relies on the strength and cohesive bonds of community. At Davidson Hospitality Group, we actively build, strengthen, and help our communities through outreach and volunteer opportunities, both as a company and as individuals.

We Love Community

Give Kids the World

For the last 30 years, Davidson Hospitality Group has joyfully pledged our love and commitment to the Give Kids the World Village, one of the highest-ranked charities in the nation, dedicated to providing cost-free dream vacations – Walt Disney World, SeaWorld and Universal Orlando™ – to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. GKTW so embodies the Davidson spirit that we consider the organization an authentic and vibrant part of our company culture.

Community Involvement

In addition to our commitment to GKTW, Davidson Hospitality Group is wholeheartedly and actively committed to our local communities, through our volunteer efforts.

Our outreach includes, but is not limited to, the Susan G. Komen walk in Atlanta, park cleanups in San Diego and Los Angeles, blue ribbons for Autism awareness month benefiting the Dan Marino foundation, Beach cleanups in Hollywood Beach Florida and Carlsbad California, sponsoring local schools for the holidays in Gatlinburg, decorating holiday trees celebrating local commerce, collecting gifts for local hospitals, and fundraising for the Pediatric Heart Association.

“At Le Méridien Houston Downtown, our location enables guests to immerse themselves in the culture they crave based on our proximity to museums, theaters, attractions and much more. We are very confident in Pivot’s ability to serve as stewards for this exceptional, architecturally-significant property. We were drawn to the company’s hands-on approach, owner’s mentality and entrepreneurial management style; and we believe they will serve as the ideal extension of our team.”

“Eden Roc and Nobu Hotel at Eden Roc offer the ultimate fusion of laid-back luxury with unique, immersive social spaces and crafted guest room retreats. We were drawn to Pivot as our new management partner based on the team’s continuous dedication to innovation, exceptional service delivery and revenue generation. Collectively, Pivot and Davidson manage some of the most successful resorts in Florida and we look forward to elevating our performance in Miami Beach.”

“Pivot has had tremendous success with independent, lifestyle and destination resort properties, thus instilling a high level of confidence in our family’s selection. Alta is an important part of our family, not just for our love of skiing together, but dates back to when my great, great grandfather, Swen O Nielson, worked in Alta’s Emma Mine in the late 1800s — the restaurant is named Swen’s in honor of him. The Snowpine Lodge is more than just an asset to our family, it’s our deep-rooted legacy. We are confident that in Pivot, we have selected partners that will be true stewards of this establishment that continues to shape Alta history.”

“Building upon our foundational relationship, we were compelled to engage Pivot for this highly anticipated opening based on the team’s extensive lifestyle pedigree through and through. Pivot understands how to serve guests who desire a personalized social travel experience. We know that under the team’s leadership and guidance, the Kimpton Harper will seamlessly encapsulate the dynamic, laid-back sophistication of Fort Worth in a meaningful way.”

“The Higgins Hotel & Conference Center is truly an iconic hotel for the ages, providing unique and convenient accommodations while paying tribute to those who served abroad and at home. Pivot’s hospitality management expertise along with their operational support enables the Museum to offer guests a truly memorable experience and expands our ability to tell the personal stories of the WWII generation.”
